2007 was a non stop year for Silverchair to say the least. We managed to get one week off from the craziness that is life on the road and I was desperate to just "get away from it all". I recalled seeing Villa Lago on The Great Outdoors and it stood apart from the rest mainly because it's amazing accommodation that's dog friendly!
Being on the road means I don’t get enough time with my lady and my 2 year old pup, Marley, and I was desperate to bring her on holidays with me, turns out Villa Lago was the perfect place to getaway. The pool is brilliant, there is a Rockin' Euro kitchen, it's close to Blueys Beach and it's super private. Most days I spent kickin' back in the outdoor heated spa gazing over the bay and sipping a beer. There was plenty of room for the pup to run around, and even a roo or 2 cruised by. It was so hard to leave and get back on the tour bus with 12 other men! I loved every moment of my stay and cant wait to get back there.
